Hey, I gave my two little guys a piece of carrot each and they had a little play but didn't really touch it, but then last night they ate it which surprised me and I was wondering if I can give it to them regularly? Sorry if this is a stupid question I just wanna be safe!

Carrot is fine in small quantities...cut a slice into quarters then split the quarter in half and that's probably a safe amount for them to have daily each...I am erring on the side of caution there, most of these amounts are more common sense than actual scientific percentages or anything "official"...I try to weigh it out so there's enough to give them a treat but not too much to be unhealthy and I also try to make it so it is as simple as possible to ensure people don't overdo it :-)

You could probably give them slices taken down the side (like you were peeling it) instead of cutting a slice out and giving them a small piece of it. A thin slice each would probably last longer and be just as much...but yeah, I'd wait until the weekend at least, although if you really have to give in then take a thin slice and cut it in half and let them have half each...no more every day :-P
