Basically you can find out for yourself by looking at the ingredients, it SHOULD say 100% porridge oats or something similar, the 100% is what's important as you want nothing added. While you're there, buy rice crispies (tesco value is fine) and puffed wheat or rice (again, value is fine) which should cost you very little extra...both of these are excellent treats to give to them for training or as and when, and both of these are good for them as long as you make sure to check ingredients to be sure there's no sugar or anything else (and puffed wheat you have to watch out with, sugar puffs are puffed wheat with honey/sugar on and you might get the wrong value wheat :-P) also check the nutritional list which will tell you what percentage of it is sugar or salt, you preferably want under 1% of both, trace or 0% if possible. If you feel like splashing out, ryvita (or tesco's own brand) will be a good purchase, as will oat cakes (in the health food area near ryvitas, but check again for levels of salt or sugar) and shredded wheat (back in the breakfast aisle) again as long as it has nothing added and is 100% pure wheat.
Hope all that helps, it is nice to vary their treats a little as porridge oats can get boring :-)
