I'm really enjoying having and ear in on your conversation, gentlemen. Although, I confess, the plant names mean rather little to me and I would love to see photos of the plants too. LOL! I can't wait to see some pictures from your friend, Makeriots. I do hope he has some in his old files!!

Here I created a list of plants found in the Chinchilla Reserve: www.degupedia.de/wiki/index.php/Diskussion:ChinchillaMy plants are from Chileflora. I have German friends they bought their seeds also there. There are also some texts about our plant projects but only in German. Apropos the Wild Chinchillas from Amy Deane, it is an interesting project. I also studied the information and played with the thought to work there for some time. But actually I have a good job again and other ideas... *g*

The photos of those plants are very interesting!! One, Drimys Winter, looks very much like plants I saw growing out on Vancouver Island when I lived there. I looked at that photo of several minutes, wracking my brain to try and remember the name we called it . . . but just kept pulling a blank. Is it related to Rhododendrons, do you know?
