It sounds like you have things under control, so that's great. Just make sure there is enough ventilation in the glass cage. You should be able to sex the babies in maybe a week or so, depending on how easy they are to handle, at least get an idea anyway.

Oh, congratulations! Good to hear that everything went well for them. After they have been sexed, you can take stock of the situation and see what kind of groups you will be looking forward to.
On that note, if there are male pups in the group, you might want to consider whether or not neutering is required, as you can get Creamer cagemates without needing to put him in with females. Neutering would of course make sure that there will not be any accidents any more (at least from Creamer. Any of his sons, on the other hand...), but if you are intending to divide the groups by sexes, this is not strictly necessary.
The main reason you might want to think it over carefully is that these operations are never totally risk-free, and there can be complications. An experienced vet can usually get a neutering done without problems, but it's good to consider the situation in any case.
Unless the neutering is happening very soon, you should also consider that there will be need for another cage anyway, as Creamer cannot be with Coffee or the female pups, and they will soon require more space than just the glass cage.

Guess I've been slackin at posting stuff here! Got some select videos of the pups from the past 3 weeks. Had Creamer spend time with the babes on and off as well (swapping coffee and creamer between their separate cages). He just got back from the vet a couple days ago to get fixed. He's doing well, but is in solitary for a couple weeks. Going to put the babies and Coffee into the big cage now that they're large enough, and put him in a smaller one where he can continue to heal. Still need to sex the little ones and see what comes next.

So, their names are Dollop (whiter piebald), Earl Grey (piebald with dark patch), and Biscuit and Biscotti. I don't know which of the last 2 are which since they look identical. Maybe I can tell the difference once they get older.

If they'll stay still, you should be able to what sexes you have, just remember to scale things down in your mind sarahc adopted two girls to live with her lad Brain, and ended up having two litters only three or so weeks apart. Believe it or not, the whole of the first litter was female, and only two of the second were male!

Hum, I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but I recall reading somewhere that once the male gets fixed, he isn't fully unable to procreate yet because he might still have some swimmers. You'll have to keep him solitary for one more month I think ? (Someone correct me if I'm wrong !)
I'm glad everything seems to be going well for you (and the babies!) !

laiyah its 8 weeks he needs to be kept separate for, that's how long it takes for any residual sperms to disappear.

Different vets seem to say different things for how long they should remain separate after the operation, anywhere from one month to 8 weeks, I think I would recommend you ask your own vet.

Sorry for the delay... The family is happy and adorable. Babies are hardly babies anymore. almost as big as their parents! Biscuit, the female pup, has been with her parents since Creamer has been fixed. I feel she's been far better of than the boys, as she's got her parents around her that are far more fearless and outgoing. She's picking up a lot of their personality traits. The boys are good, but they hide much more than their sister. The other blue, Biscotti, is the most outgoing of the group. He's always first to the door to get snacks and to find the had holding the stash.. and helping himself to it. Dollop is a little on edge, but comes around. Earl Grey was always the most cautious and fearful. He tries to get his snacks through the cage at the bottom (where it's safest), so I'm trying to lure him to the top more for group play time. He's timid, but so sweet and gentle. But yeah. they're all so delightful. Biscotti Dollop Earl Grey Dollop and Earl Grey Biscuit next to Creamer Creamer and Coffee

Great to hear that everything has gone well! They all look so sweet. I'm sure the boys will get bolder over time as well. They're still learning the ropes and the world is big and new, after all. In any case, looks like you managed very well. Congratulations for handling everything admirably
