Mr grey seemed quite bony tonight along the spine and pelivc area, I weighted him on some baby scales and he was 0.50 lbs I think big Al was 0.62 lbs Mr grey has always been on the smaller side anyway I'm going to phone the vets tomorrow and see what his last weight was and Borrow some digital cooking scales from work I think hes due a spur trim too its getting around that time poor mite

0.5 lbs is 226.7 grams, and 0.62 lbs is 281 grams. He is a fair bit lighter. It probably is a good idea to have him looked at just to be sure.

That's quite a drop! Similar to Scaredygoo when he needed a trim.

My Ichi – who can only eat Critical Care, baby food and oats because of Temporal Mandibular Joint Disorder – is 172 g and has that bony look around her back legs and pelvis. Rei – who suffers from molar roots growing up and down everywhere but who can still eat some hard food – is 182 g. She is looking a bit thin but not as bad – yet – as Ichi.
Is Mr Grey eating hard food? I use a digital cooking scale to weigh my goos – you can get a decent reading on them. Good luck at the vet tomorrow.

Our big boy Mater comes in at 347g, little porker, we were a bit worried about his weight but the vet said he's a healthy shape, not rounded or anything, lol. He seems to have put on a few grams since being on the metacam, not sure if he's getting more food or building more muscle because he's more active. Our smallest girl weighs only 239g, but they're both healthy.

Big Al is the size of Gandalf and Venk in the summer, so yeah he's not too large compared to some - Pip and Smeg always used to be at the 300g mark! Fat b*gg*rs!

Mater is quite the bruiser, lol, but he's the most chilled out goo you could ever want to meet. He's clearly dominant but he and Buddy don't fight any more, a fight normally involves Buddy getting squeaked at and repeatedly hit over the head by Mater, lol, often because Buddy wants to play and Mater wants to sleep.
