My stable group stil box constantly, I like to think of it as their equivalent to us texting/talking to family members throughout the day

I ordered a spare snugglesafe cover yet For £5 I got a whole snuggle safe. I might be able to buy the phone case I have had my eye on after all...

They haven't completed taken to hay cookies but I came back from school and found toilet roll pulled out of their house and in their food bole and everywhere else in the area. They are monkeys. I do believe I may be waking them up in the morning will my alarm clock. They get revenge by staying up until midnight on their wheel. Hasn't been so bad recently but the other week they must have been aiming to keep me awake

Drum and chip seem to chew most things (lucky me!) but they have those few things that even they know they couldn't live without lol.
Hammock is a no chew. (Most likely it is because they nap a lot in it and I belive they sometimes sleep in it. Their p@H one got chewed but thinking about it that must of been anything but comfy. Wheel... They only ever chewed the stand but that isnt there any more. And of course they barely chew the chew toys...

Very sweet face. Have you tried earplugs for when they are being noisy in the night?

I havn't. The bedroom I was in before was next to my dad's and his snoring must have been at least double the loudness of Drum and Chip.

Our house used to be 3 little cottages and is therefore long. There is a reason My mum sleeps at one end of the house and my Dad at the other.

Hahahahahaha I thought my dad was unique! His snores used to resonate around the house, and you could hear the snoring from outside with the windows closed! Yes, the double glazing kept the traffic noise out, but couldn't keep the snores in!

Is it weird I find my partners snoring soothing? Lol as a child i'd nap with my dad watching old films and he'd snore just like my partner does so i guess it brings back happy memories.. Luckily for him! otherwise I don't think we'd have made it 12 years so far 😂

My husband snores REALLY loudly. In our early years of marriage, there was a Christmas where we were staying with my parents, of course having our dogs with us while there. At that point in time they were not permitted to sleep near or on the bed, so they were blocked inside a very large closet in the room.
Middle of the night I am wakened by this HORRIBLE loud snoring, so I start elbowing my hubby to turn over. He is NOT turning over. More elbowing. He moves away, but the keeps on snoring. ELBOWS rain down on him, and maybe a few knees!!
"WHAT!!!!!!" He suddenly roars at me. "Your snoring is REALLY loud and you won't turn over!!" I defensively reply. Then, while we glare at each other in the dark, another snore shakes the foundations of the house.
I get up and follow the sound, wondering how on earth I can hear my Dad through the floor like that, . . . to the closet. There, with his head pressed into the wall, chin pressed into his chest, is our Cocker Spaniel, fighting for every breath through his cramped airway. I bent down, pulled him away from the wall, and he didn't even flinch. LOL The rest of the night was elbows and knees free . . . but that didn't help my husband. He couldn't get back to sleep. OOPS!

They have taken to hay cookies now Chip fell in the toilet today She was fine. The toilet was clean. I was in the other room next door and forgot to close the toilet seat. I heard some splashing around and went in. Luckily the bit she was in wasn't deep. I wrapped a towel around her and got her snugglesafe. Right now she is sitting on her snugglesafe happy

So glad you heard the splashing! They can drown quickly in a toilet. One of our first two degus died that way just six weeks after getting them. It was horrifying and heart breaking. So glad she is OK!!
