I just want advice. My Degus were out their cage playing in their room and one of them (Master) (female) got injured by the door to to bedroom being opened. She was limping as her back leg was sore and her tail has been cut like a ring cut around it. We kept her separate but she just kept jumping trying to get out of the isolation tank. She's now running and jumping around, her foot look a little swollen but not horrific. Does anyone know if a degu would carry on jumping and running if they had broken their leg. Also about the tail do I need to worry about it coming off, its just a cut but is it possible that it may be broken and she will end up biting it off? She with the other 3 now and I have taken out the wheels.

If the tailbone is broken, then she very likely will chew it off, and if the damage is deep enough and is in essence degloved, again she will likely chew it off. If the skin alone if split, but still attached to the muscles, hopefully it will heal and none of the tail will be lost.
It is good that you have taken out the wheels, so that she can rest the leg that was being favored. Also, if you have the dust bath in with them, remove it as it will cause infection if she get the dust into her wound.

The cut doesn't look to deep. But there is lack of movement, but that hard to tell anyway. Thanks I have removed the dust bath. she did let me dip her tail in salt water this morning which cleared up most of the dried blood, doesn't look as bad. She doesn't seem to be limping at all, just slow, she was the last up this morning and no so much running and she's not as interested in food, I tried giving her oats which they normally fight over, but not so much as a second sniff. But she has eaten a little treat.

Do keep an eye on her. The lack of interest in food and reduced movement may indicate injuries that we can't see, and it might actually be a wise plan to take her in to see your vet.

I'm concerned at her going off her food, I would get her to the vet as soon as you can.
A fully broken leg where the bone is displaced won't bear any weight and will just flop around, but any kind of leg injury right up to that level they will often still try to use the leg, and usually you have to try to keep them relaxed to get them to rest it. A heatpad can help in getting them to rest up.
