Oh no! You are having a time of it with your boys!
It looks like he's doing a fairly good job sorting it himself, what a nightmare though.
Hope the vet visit goes ok, I have no doubt you'll all be fine.

Oh no!
You know what...I'd be tempted to leave that to heal by itself for a few days, it looks pretty tidy, obviously keep a close eye on it and remove sand and anything that might get stuck in it. (they don't seem to immediately rush them to surgery in Germany for degloved tails)

It should dry up over the course of a few days and then fall off or be chewed off. If you are concerned then of course take him to the vet, I just thought I would let you know that sometimes it heals up fine by itself and you can avoid a surgery, it's entirely up to you.

I'm going to go to the vets because it was still bleeding and weeping quite alot but I will say to them that if it dosent need surgury I would rather not do it but I'm a worrier and I like my mind to be put at rest other wise I wont sleep lol there due a bloody teeth trimm soon aswell :S

I.had to separate them before work this morning I caught mr grey nibbiling the stitches but I was running late so the separation was a bit of a bodge job with a bathroom tile and some rocks over one hole so I expect they will be together by the time I get home just hope there is no more injuries :/
