Apologies if this has been covered in earlier threads, I may well have missed ....
I'd welcome recommendations for:
1. mesh size for new cage - I'm assuming 1/2inch x 1/2inch is the best 2. mesh gauge and type - I planned 16g - does it need to be galvanised, or not relevant 3. online sources for mesh of the above type - I've found some flat panel 8foot x4foot for the above. Roll is cheaper, but not clear best way of getting it flat - any advice one way or the other - or pointers to suppliers / products others have used (a PM is fine if no "advertising" allowed - thanks)

I used this (it was a good few years back now so I've just had to search through my old posts to find it ) www.meshdirect.co.uk/wire-mesh-20mm-x-20mm-16g.htmlWe later used some perspex for the doors as the mess coming out through the mesh doors was very annoying. We still used the mesh on the roof though to allow for good ventilation.

I used some old Liberta Explorer cages and a good pair of wire cutters, and chopped them to bits!!
