Hi, sorry I've not been about lately - got a new job and still getting used to working full time so spend most of the days shattered!
Sadly, this morning I let Rose and Daisy out and noticed Daisy was very sleepy still so took her with me back to bed, she curled up on me for ages and when it was time to get up i noticed how tired she still was when usually she'd have ran off by now. I went to work and asked my sister to go round and check on her, she said she was really sleepy, eyes almost shut and not really moving much so I got my dad to come get me and took her to the vet (thankfully my work were ok with this) and vet checked her over, said she was a good weight, had a good feel around and felt no obstructions in her body (Daisy was very well behaved and let him check her over) he checked her eyes, mouth and breathing/ heartbeat and couldn't find anything wrong. she was a bit more active in there and on the way and when she was moving about her eyes were open and bright. He did say around her genitals was quite wet and possible sign of discharge so she could have an infection of some sort. he gave me baytril and metcam.
I'm really struggling though as she's not eating or drinking that I can see. Earlier i got her to take some water using a syringe but no luck since, I had to go back to work for a few hours so don't know if she used the water bottle at all but won't take water from syringe since then. She isn't eating (not even oats) so have nothing to put antibiotics on and if she wont take water i don't know how i'll get her to take that.
I'm stuck and in a complete panic.
She's moving around normally when she's not huddled up sleeping (which is a lot). I've put a hot water bottle in with her to lay on.
It's so frustrating because I can only do so much and she won't help me help her
