My degus are now three weeks old and one of them is bullying all the others. It bites at their tails and their feet and is relentless. They'll be squealing and running away and he'll follow, constantly biting. I'm not seeing any blood, but the others seem to be getting stressed. This aggressive one is the same degu i mentioned before that was constantly squeaking and leaving the nest. Is something wrong with him?! Why is he biting the others? He bit his mother too, and she turned around and gave him a good nip in return, which made him squeak and complain for a good ten minutes. He is the noisiest of all five degus and constantly chitters and squeaks as he runs around the cage. Should I separate him from the others if he's being this aggressive?

He is way too young to be separated at this point. I think you should just keep an eye on things and let Momma goo deal with him. He is in need of her discipline, and it sounds like she is giving it. One of the things that is observed with Daddy goos is that they are good at keeping the pups in line and teaching them good manners, however if Daddy is not neutered, he will also re-impregnate Momma goo again . . . so it is something you need to be very careful with.
