Do you have any antibacterial ointment that you could also dab on?

Hmmm . . . rats! In Canada we have something called Polysporin and you can put the ointment type into your eyes or nose . . . so I think it would be OK for a cone . . . but I don't know what the equivalent in UK would be.

Only cream I can think of is my friend makes this "magic goo" it's basically tea tree oil lavender oil and some.other oils all mixed and set with petroleum jelly. It's a cream for everything she even uses it on her dog lol, don't know if that would be ok? His poor cone is looking quite red bless him

When Jose had his prolapsed penis and it was swollen and infected, the vet got us to apply canaural doggy ear drops via cotton bud.

Probably best to not pop them. I like the idea of the canaural doggy ear drops though.

I believe they are just an off the shelf pet product.
Actually I have just had a look and they are a prescription medicine.

Checked mr greys cone again today and the mother of all white heads has appeared!!! Salt bathed it and it must be a bit sore cuz he really gave out a squeal when I dabbed warm salt water on it, is the the same as when we get a really sore white head on your lip or nose and it kills untill you pop it? Hoping salt water will draw it out quickly!!

I would guess it would be really painful in the genital area.
I think you might need to consult the vet about this since it's not really going away, he might need some antibacterial ointment or wash to sort it out.

Yes I thought that very kind of her considering she's not the vet that was treating mr grey In the first place, and.more than likely they no I have an appt for Mr grey to have his stitches removed next Saturday as they haven't dissolved so they need to remove them so.they will charge me an arm and a leg for that lol!! Can't complain tho my vets are very good and have a degu specialist who I can normally get to see every time I go maybe he thinks I fancy him cuz I always ask to be booked In with him LOL, to be fair tho he's cute can't complain about some eye candy in bad times lol lol lol lol
