Hi I think it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to pictures of cages. I know there are loads of threads with photos in them, but to have them all one one thread would make it much easiser and quicker for people that are looking for inspiration. If this could be made into a sticky, that would make it easy to find. I'll start of with pics of my Tall Chinchilla Cage. Its home to Charlie, Paddy and Rodney (I'm a big fan of Monkey World). Its actually changes a bit since these were taken, and I'll put new photos up after I've cleaned the cage this weekend. So come on everyone, post your photos here.

Wow that's an impressive cage. Going to have to make sure my boys don't see it or they will want to leave home and live with you.

hi jayie. How long does your cardboard last,on your shelves? I;m sick of saw dust/hay, being everywhere, even after using perspex. But my husband is worried about them smelling xx The first lot I took out the other week was still ok and had been in there about a month. I've now replaced with vinyl floor tiles as they are easier to wipe down and clean and the pee doesn't soak into them and make them smell =) Picked up a box of 6 from Wilkos for £2.38, but can also find them in poundland sometimes =)

so, do youjus sweep the poo up each day?
And for the floor tiles, don't the goo;s sit in their own wee?
Sorry for all the questions, but i want to convince my husband, this is the way to go lol

I tend to just do a quick poo pick up when they come out in the evening and wipe up any wet wee I can see with a piece of kitchen roll. It does dry on the tiles, just doesn't soak in, and leaves white chalky smears which do smell if left for a week or more. Really easy to clean the tiles though =)

Well I just got my Silent Spinner Wheel, its huge I hope it will fit inside the cage door, otherwise will have to take bottom tray out and manhandle it somehow into the cage. Also got them a new enclosed sand bath. So will update thread once I've put new sheel in and tidied up a bit.

Had nowhere else to put them XP Lol thats Monkey's (my "baby teddy") legs, Koochie Valentine the dog, Alex the lion (my partners "baby teddy" - the one you have at birth and seem to keep!), and can just about see Trillium Moose's feet XP The goos did try and jump over to them from the cage last night but thought better of it thankfully! XP

We're all getting there.... They don't seem to be too impressed when the wind howls through the building or the dogs / cats come in the room, but its settling down. Gave into the cold last night and turned the fan heater on XP Still waiting on an electric radiator for the room as the central heating ones are pants lol
Goos don't seem to be bothered by the cold, and if they do get a little cold (god forbid they stop running on the wheel for more than a couple of minutes XP) they go sit on their heat pad thats in there most of the day and night now =)

Oh dear... just tried but I cant stand far enough back to get the whole lot in on my camera!! Hahaha! Sorry ya'll.
Its basically three of the new Jenny rat cages (large) on top of each other with the inside ledges (that would be the top of each cage if left individual) cut out to make holes to climb through
