These are my plants on the 24th Timothy grass Please excuse the bald patches the boys had been at it. This is my clover pot The plantain hasn't grown at all and the bird mix was of no interest to the degus. I put one in my cockatiel's cage and he just walked around on it. lol. Not a hit. However they LOVE the timothy grass This is Gerrard and my new boy. He has now been named TeddyIt was so hard to choose a name for him but my OH named him in the end after Ted Buckland in scrubs. He is a bit funny and gets freaked out if you make eye contact. He will happily bite me if he gets chance though. I didn't realise that babies were such chompers. Kat x

Lovely picture, your boys are obviously enjoying their grass You are doing really well with your planting, much better than my miserable attempts so far, which haven't yet progressed beyond cress. My girls love it though, fresh from the “growth plot”. Hopefully we'll all be able to more gardening for degus next year!

She does seem to be enjoying that. I think she has said "I'll just pick this flower and..." NOM "oops I ate it."

Looking good there It's nice to see them eating fresh stuff, I ought to show the photos to my goos so they get the idea! If you can stick the plantain outside, you might find it germinates in the spring.

Wow, very nice with the planting. I've kept some plastic food pots like you have kat to try planting stuff. A couple pots have been reserved for mixed lettuce for us humans. And I'm going to try growing some grass or maybe dandelions, not sure yet.
